Chadpidan beach is one of the 2 known "boulder" beaches in Batanes, the other one is Valugan. The rocks are mostly the size of a standard basketball, some 2-3x bigger stacked on top of each other which is said to have been from the now dormant volcano Mt. Iraya. The shore is amazing as there is no other rugged shores like this in the country. The background is the edge of the place called "Rolling Hills". To me it almost looks like a tail of a dragon lying down inland. A very challenging place to shoot because of the continous pounding of the sea that causes spray and not easy enough to secure a good footing because of the huge boulders.
