An image of the Golden Gate Bridge with an uncommon mixture of low and high fog to reveal the bridge but hide the city behind. By the way, #escaype forecasts low fog, too :) www.escaype.com portfolio and services: http://ift.tt/1irFxdJ With a lot of the discussion that's been happening lately in the photography community, a lot of us seem to be catching this funny bug that makes us feel like we have to travel halfway around the world and discover a new "secret" spot in order to to produce an image worth looking at. I sometimes get funny looks when I post a shot from the Golden Gate Bridge, because it's an "overshot" location. I've said this before, and I'll say it again: I don't believe in "overshot". I will continue to visit the places I love, and I will photograph them in the best conditions I can find. This incredible bridge is 10 minutes from my house, and I will never turn down a chance to photograph it when the time feels right. If you're sick of this bridge, that's fine, close the window and move on. But I'm not done with it. :) (I never know if I should categorize these as city or landscapes -- in my mind, it's a bit of both.) via 500px http://ift.tt/1adfHNx
